Ethics and Compliance Hotline

Richland One’s Ethics and Compliance Hotline (803-252-9280) allows students, employees and community members to report potential compliance violations, fraud, waste, misuse or any other ethical issues anonymously and confidentially. Calls are not traceable and there is no caller ID on the hotline number. 

The hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Callers will hear a voice-recorded message, then they are asked to leave a message with as many details as possible about the compliance issues they are reporting. All reported issues will be investigated thoroughly. Callers who would like to leave their contact information for follow-up may do so, but that is not required.

Please note that the Ethics and Compliance Hotline is not a complaint hotline. Only matters involving fraud, waste and abuse of district resources, non-compliance with district policies and federal/state law or regulations will be investigated. District employees with other complaints are advised to report them through normal administrative channels.
