ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS
in reference to laptops, books, fees, and personal items pick-up:
Juniors: Tuesday, May 26 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Juniors will be allowed to pick-up their personal items and return school equipment (laptops, athletic gear, library books, and school textbooks).
Freshmen: Wednesday, May 27 from 8:30am-11:30 am Freshmen students with last name (A-M) and from 12:30 pm-3:00 pm Freshmen with last name (N-Z)
Sophomores: Thursday, May 28 from 8:30am-11:30 am Sophomores with last name ending (A-M) and from 12:30 pm-3pm Sophomores with last name ending (N-Z).
Make-up Day and Final Day: Friday, May 29, From 8:30am-11:30am will be the make-up and deadline for all CA Johnson students to turn in and pick up their items.
We also be processing student fees and balances prior to signing out.
Social Distancing will be enforced. Only a few number of students will be allowed in the building at a time. Please wear masks if you have them and gloves will be available at the school. Please plan accordingly to come during your scheduled time. We will be working diligently to get you in and out effectively, safely, and in a timely manner.
RICHLAND ONE ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONIES
Richland One will hold its high school graduation ceremonies June 2-5 at the district’s football stadiums. Rain dates, if needed, will be June 8-9.
Each graduating senior will receive two tickets for family members to attend. No other guests will be admitted into the stadiums. Seniors will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. Social distancing and other health and safety protocols will be enforced.
The graduation ceremonies will be livestreamed and recorded.

- SCHOOLS WILL STAY CLOSED FOR REMAINDER OF THE SCHOOL YEAR
Governor Henry McMaster and State Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman have announced that schools statewide will remain closed for the rest of the school year.
Richland One students will continue e-Learning activities for the remainder of the year. The district’s IT Support Team will continue to provide e-Learning technical assistance to students, parents and staff, and buses will continue to serve as Wi-Fi hotspots at designated sites. Weekly meal pick-ups and deliveries for students also will continue on Mondays.
The FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) on the district’s website (www.richlandone.org) will be updated with information on fourth quarter grading and other matters regarding the end of the school year. District administrators are considering various options for high school graduation ceremonies.

Please be advised that this year’s Academic All-Stars Recognition Banquet, which was scheduled for May 6 at the Convention Center has been cancelled. The District's Communications and the AAP Office will work together to get the All-Stars medallions and High School Scholars stoles to students prior to their graduation ceremonies.
Also, please note the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Completion Ceremony, which was scheduled for May 5 at the Koger Center, also has been canceled.
Richland 1 Information Technology (IT) Department will provide technical support to all staff, students, and parents of Richland School District 1 on eLearning Days. The IT Support Team can be reached by calling 803-231-7436. This number will be active Monday through Friday from the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
