Brandon is the founder and executive director of Amplify Action; A nonprofit organization focused on rebuilding power within marginalized communities through the voter registration and civic mobilization of Black men.
Brandon is an eighth-generation South Carolina native, reared in Aiken SC. He is a US Army Combat Veteran and a notable political operative, consultant, and motivational speaker. Brandon served in Iraq as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Specialist, and later as a Combat Engineer for a trailblazing task force during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also volunteered on more than 100 combat missions in Iraq and was honored with an Army Commendation Medal and as his Company's Soldier of the year in 2006 and NCO of the year in 2008.
Patricia Singleton Parr
Patricia “Pat” Singleton Parr lives in Florence, South Carolina with her husband of thirty six years, Clifford Parr. They are the proud parents of two sons, Clifford and Christopher.
Mrs. Parr grew up in New York and Sumter, South Carolina. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and Psychology from Columbia College in 1981 and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law in 1984. She is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Florence Bar, SC Women Bar Association, and American Bar Associate. In 2012, she was admitted to the United States Supreme Court Bar. Mrs. Parr practiced law in Florence for over thirty years and retired as an Assistant Solicitor for the Office of Solicitor for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit where she prosecuted a variety of cases including drugs, homicides and criminal sexual offenses for twenty years. She also served as City Attorney for the City of Florence. Mrs. Parr currently serves as a part time Administrative Hearing Officer for Florence School District #1.
I grew up in the small town of Jonesville, SC where I still currently live. I have been married to my wonderful wife Julie for 19 years. I have 4 children: Branson (16), John (14), Lily (11), and Shawna (11). I obtained a degree in respiratory therapy and a degree in nursing. My career in healthcare has extended across multiple fields as well as inside and outside of hospitals. I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages, from infants to adults as well as many areas such as emergency room, intensive care, heart center, natural disaster relief, and hospice. Over the last 20 years I have been blessed to help care for many people.
