AP Computer Science Students Compete at Code Quest

AP Computer Science Students Compete at Code Quest

Alison Schriro, AP Computer Science teacher, was delighted by the performance of five of her students in Code Quest, a computer science competition.  Code Quest is sponsored by Lockheed Martin in Greenville.

Two teams from Dreher competed in the novice division, which is limited to students with at most one year of formal computer science education. Jackson Ellenberg, Zuri Gilmore-Stevenson, and Amy Yao finished in third place and Anthony Androulakis and Madeline Petkewich finished fourth out of eleven teams.  The performance of our teams is especially impressive because they scored higher than a number of others from STEM magnet schools across South Carolina and Georgia.
