Returning Student Enrollment Verification for 2022-2023

  • Returning Student Registration is now open.  Be sure to complete your child(ren)'s reenrollment before June 22, the date that PowerSchool becomes unavailable until late July.

Please visit PowerSchool's ParentPortal to complete the 2022-2023 Returning Student registration for your child(ren).  Richland One School District requires that all families register each student every year. If you do not already have a ParentPortal account set up, please contact Dreher registrar, Quenna Smith ( or 803.253.7020).

After you sign in to your ParentPortal account, you will see the tab for the 2022-2023 Returning Student registration. Before we can accept your return enrollment, we must see two documents that verify your residency. These documents must be in the name of the parent or legal guardian and must be dated within thirty days prior to online or in-person registration. Scanned documents are much preferred because photos of documents are often illegible when uploaded. If you must use a phone to photograph your documents, please check that they are legible before uploading.  If the document is not legible, we will notify you and the registration will not be complete until all acceptable documents are received.

Below are acceptable address verification documents:

Proof of Residency #1: current lease, rental agreement, or mortgage bill. Title deeds and tax documents may be accepted if the home is paid in full.

Proof of Residency #2: electric bill, gas bill, water/sewage bill, landline phone bill, cable/satellite/internet bill.

If your family is living with another family, you must complete a Shared Housing Affidavit packet found on the Richland One website. Instructions as well as a list of required documents are detailed on the first page of the packet. This affidavit with required proofs of residence must be completed each school year.

*Important Note:  If you know your student will not be returning to Richland One in the 2022-2023 school year, you must complete the withdrawal process at the end of the school year to avoid any delay in your student's enrollment in the fall at the student’s new school. Please contact Quenna Smith for instructions on withdrawing your student.
