"I am proud to report some exciting news from the Chem. Olympiad Team!

Please congratulate the following students as they competed in the (virtual) Chem. Olympiad Local Exam over the weekend:
Hannah Ammons
Cassandra Escorcia
Abigail Lacy
Addison Lee
Zoe Maltarich
Elizabeth Rambo
Jazahara Solan
Eleanor Wachtel
Leon Wang
Leon Wang and Zuzu Maltarich will represent South Carolina at the National Chemistry Olympiad in April! Please congratulate Leon and Zuzu and wish them luck at Nationals!
Chemistry Olympiad Team Background:

The students meet (virtually) after school to prepare for the Chemistry Olympiad. These students have dedicated extra time and energy to learning chemistry content beyond the scope of AP Chem (including organic chem). We welcomed a USC chemistry professor into our study sessions as a co-mentor this year and had a great experience through all the hard work preparing for the competition! Be sure to congratulate all who competed over the weekend.
PS - South Carolina can only send 8-10 students to Nationals, and TWO of those are Blue Devils! "
