Noah Dornik Accepted into US Naval Academy

Announcement by Chief James Harris, proud NJROTC instructor:

"I am proud to report that our senior Noah Dornik has been accepted to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. This is no easy feat, so let me put this in perspective. Only 8.4% of all USNA applicants are accepted, and is considered to be the “Best of the Best” of all Service Academy’s and one of the best Undergraduate degree colleges/ universities. But of course this comes with years of what the Navy calls “Sustained Superior Performance”. If you’ve known Noah Dornik since his Freshmen year, or this is your 1st year at Dreher and you have had the privilege of having him as your student, you know that he has maintained a level of focus, drive, and professionalism that is rarely matched. Additionally, Noah was required to have face to face interviews with SC Senator Lindsey Graham and SC Congressmen Jim Clyburn, with both proudly endorsing his application. His acceptance to USNA includes a full scholarship with 100% tuition, room and board, medical and dental.

If you see him around school please congratulate him for truly a job well done. Next time you see him after graduation, he will be either Midshipmen Dornik, USNA, Ensign Dornik, USN, or 2nd LT Dornik, USMC."
