Jackson Ellenberg and Leon Wang Will Represent SC in National Chemistry Olympiad

Senior Jackson Ellenberg and junior Leon Wang will represent South Carolina in the National Chemistry Olympiad, based upon their exceptional performance on the virtual South Carolina Chemistry Olympiad exam. 


The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad national exam is a 3-part, 4 hour and 45 minute exam administered by Local Sections of the American Chemical Society (ACS).  More than 1000 students participate in this exam each year.  The exam includes multiple choice questions, problem solving, and a lab practical.  


Chemistry teacher Elizabeth Link proudly reports that eleven Dreher students participated in the South Carolina Chemistry Olympiad.  They are:
