2023-2024 Welcome Back Message

Greetings Falcon Families!

We are excited to welcome students back to school on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. In the near future, we will send out very important information regarding updated policies and procedures. In addition, we will notify you as soon as student schedules are available through PowerSchool.

The school day begins promptly at 8:00 am and concludes at 3:15 pm. The cafeteria opens for breakfast at 7:30 am. All students will be entering through the school weapon detectors, so please allow time for entry and to get to first block by 8:00 am. Faculty and staff members will be present in the halls to help students find their classes for the first few days of school.

AC Flora Freshman Orientation will take place Monday, August 14, 2023, from 8:00 – 11:30 am. Students should report to the competition gym (entry is through the large parking lot on Falcon Drive).  Students attending will take a tour of the school, learn about AC Flora opportunities, and participate in team building activities. We are excited to welcome our new Falcons!

Seniors who applied for parking should have received an email with information about how to pick up the parking pass. If your senior did not receive this email, please contact Dominique Padgett at dominique.padgett@richlandone.org. Juniors who applied for parking will receive information about parking passes after Labor Day. Please remember that there are a limited number of spots available for our juniors. Students may not park on the campus of AC Flora without an AC Flora parking pass. For all other students in need of parking, we encourage students to carpool as the street parking availability is limited. MUV Fitness offers paid parking spaces for $280 per year. Please contact MUV Fitness to purchase a parking pass. AC Flora High School is not affiliated with MUV Fitness, a private business.

I look forward to the 2023 – 2024 school year and know that exciting days are ahead of us. AC Flora has a reputation of excellence, and the expectation is that this year will provide multiple opportunities for the Falcons to excel in the arts, athletics, activities, and of course academics. GO FALCONS!
