Information for Parents & Students (12/18/20)

Greetings Falcon Families!

As the 2020 calendar year comes to a close, we wanted to wish the Flora Family a Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year. We know this year has come with challenges that none of us could have imagined this time last year, but we are proud to be on this new path together with the wonderful Flora community. We also wanted to take this time to make sure you had the information you need to be prepared when we return to school on January 4th. To be clear, all classes will resume on Monday, January 4th and all classes with be virtual through January 15th. There will be no on-campus classes during this time.

SPECIAL NOTE: For the two weeks of eLearning following Winter Break, we will be using the same eLearning Bell Schedule that we have been using during Hybrid/Phase 2. This is the same schedule your student is currently using when they are not on campus. To confirm, this schedule is as follows:

1st Block: 8:45-9:45

2nd Block: 10:15-11:15

3rd Block: 12:30-1:30

4th Block: 2:00-3:00

Monday, January 4th - Friday, January 15th: eLearning classes for all students

Monday, January 18th: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday (no school for students or staff)

Tuesday, January 19th: Classes resume (tentatively we are set to return to Phase 2/Hybrid on this date; stay tuned to messages from the district for any updates)

In addition, Legacy Studios will be on campus in January for school pictures. There will be underclassmen picture dates as well as a date for Senior Portraits. Please note that this will be by appointment only and the sign-up information, along with specific dates and times, will be sent out once we have those exact details. We are working to schedule additional dates when we return to our Hybrid schedule, but we encourage you to sign up for pictures in January if you are able to do so. Again, we will communicate those specific details as soon as we have them.

Finally, we certainly hope that all of you enjoy a restful holiday season. Our students have shown great commitment and work ethic throughout this difficult time, and we are proud of their efforts and thankful for the support they receive from you at home. We encourage you join us in relaxing and recharging as we look forward to a great 2021.

Thanks and Go Falcons!
