“I am beyond honored to have been named the Coach of the Year for South Carolina. This would not have been possible without my players, their parents and my amazing coaching staff,” said Ard. “This is truly an extension of our program and the dedication and passion our players bring to the field every single day. I am fortunate to coach an amazing group of young women.”

Ard said Sarah is a dedicated player who displays excellent leadership skills on and off the field. The International Baccalaureate (IB) student is ranked among the top in her class, academically, plays varsity tennis, volunteers in various capacities, in addition to serving as a leader on the lacrosse team.

“She is the true definition of a team leader who is dedicated to the growth of the program,” said Ard.
