For the fifth consecutive year, Richland One is partnering with Prisma Health to offer the flu vaccine to residents in Richland, Lexington and Sumter counties.
The shots will be administered curbside/drive-through at no cost to anyone age six months or older throughout October. There will be limited capacity to provide vaccines outside of the vehicle for children, if needed.
Participants are asked to wear a short-sleeved shirt or loose-fitting clothing that can easily roll up to assist with vaccines. Face masks or shields are required, along with temperature checks.
Those with a fever or those awaiting COVID-19 test results will NOT be allowed a flu shot. The vaccines are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For a schedule, please visit PrismaHealth.org/FreeFluShots or see below.
