Richland One will host four free COVID-19 vaccination clinics this summer, in partnership with Prisma Health and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).

(9 a.m. – 1 p.m. both days)

Caughman Road Elementary School

7725 Caughman Road

Columbia, SC 29209

July 15 and August 5

(9 a.m. – 1 p.m. both days)

St. Andrews Middle School

Nurses from Prisma Health will administer the vaccinations to anyone age 12 or older. First and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available. Parents must sign a consent form for children under 16 to receive the vaccine.

“We appreciate the guidance and assistance we have received from Prisma Health and DHEC throughout the pandemic and in coordinating these clinics,” said Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon. “We encourage parents to take advantage of these opportunities to have their children who are ages 12 and up vaccinated.”

No registration is required for the drive-through vaccination clinics. There also will be prizes and giveaways at each of the events.

Parents and others who would like additional information about the vaccination clinics may contact Ms. Shenequa Coles, Richland One’s director of student support services, at shenequa.coles@richlandone.org or (803) 231-6741.
