Richland One’s Career and Technical Education Office is looking for district high school students interested in getting a head start in learning how to write a resume’, set career goals and other skills they’ll need to get a job or prepare for college.
Richland One students in grades 9-12 can apply now for the six-week virtual work-readiness program called “Begin With The End in Mind,” which will be held on Tuesdays, April 12-May 21 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Students who register for the free course by March 26 will receive a special gift the first day of the program. The program, which includes lots of prizes, games and fun activities, will teach students about job applications, professional conduct in the workplace, job certifications and writing cover letters. Students will also do mock job interviews, as well as learn about college life and the college admission process.
