Richland One is hiring food service employees including cashiers and truck drivers as well food service operators who would prepare, cook and serve meals.
Richland One’s Office of Student Nutrition Services offers qualified applicants many advantages including competitive salaries, great schedules and professional development.
The work schedules of food service staff allow them more time to take care of family or other responsibilities and interests, according to Tracy Dixon, director of Student Nutrition Services.
“These positions would be a great fit for parents with young children, retirees and applicants seeking part-time employment,” said Dixon. “We have part-time and full-time positions available. Our food service employees work nine months out of the year and they get district holidays off, including spring and winter breaks. They don’t have to work weekends and they get their summers off as well. We also offer on-the-job training and cross-training so that applicants can expand their skills. But above all, we want people with great customer service skills to join our team.”
Applicants for the food service positions must have a high school diploma or GED and they must apply online at www.richlandone.org . Applicants who would like more detailed information should email Khalilah Carpenter at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (803) 231-6953.
