Richland One Announces 2019-2020 Pre-K Registration


Richland One families can begin the registration process for the district’s 2019-2020 pre-kindergarten programs for three and four-year-old children. To be eligible for pre-kindergarten, children must have reached the age of three or four on or before September 1, 2019, and parents must reside within the Richland One school district.


To begin the registration process, parents should attend one of our pre-kindergarten parent information meetings. Spanish interpreters will be available at all of our information meetings. At these meetings, parents will get details about scheduling their child’s screening, online registration, required documents and more.

After attending an information meeting, the next step in the process will be for parents to complete and submit the online registration form at This form will be available on March 1.


Parents can begin submitting copies of the following documents now to the Richland One Office of School Readiness and Pre-Kindergarten Programs at 2638 Two Notch Road, Suite 106:


  • Child’s long-form birth certificate
  • Child’s current DHEC immunization form
  • Proof of income (both parents’ pay stubs or child’s current Medicaid card)
  • Current signed lease
  • Current utility bill


After all documents have been received, parents will be able to schedule their child’s screening appointment.
