Richland One to Distribute Meals for Students to Eat During 4th of July Week

Since schools will be closed and summer programs will not operate the week of July 4, the Richland One Nutrition Services team wants to make sure students have food to eat during that week.

Free meal boxes, which will contain five days’ worth of shelf-stable meals, will be distributed Wednesday, June 29 from 9-11 a.m. at Carver-Lyon Elementary School, St. Andrews Middle School, Eau Claire High School and Lower Richland High School.

Parents can go to the site that is most convenient. Just pull into the car loop and staff will be there to give you the meal boxes for your children. You do not need to complete any forms or do anything else in advance.

The meal boxes are for students who are enrolled in the district’s summer programs as well as students who are not enrolled in our summer programs.
