Richland One Still Registering Students for Pre-K; 3K Offered at Six Sites in 2022-2023 School Year

Registration is still open for Richland One’s traditional pre-kindergarten (pre-K) programs for the 2022-2023 school year, and this year there are expanded offerings.

Richland One offers free, full-day pre-K programs for three-year-olds (3K) and four-year-olds (4K). To enroll for next year, students must be age three or four by Sept. 1, 2022. The 3K program is available at six sites rather than one this fall – Bradley, Gadsden, Hopkins, Hyatt Park, Lewis Greenview and W.S. Sandel elementary schools.

Parents may register their children until every opening is filled. Space is limited, so parents are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Parents must attend a parent information session and complete an application and new student registration requirements online.

After parents attend an information session and submit the application and other documents to the Office of School Readiness and Pre-kindergarten Programs (OSRPP), students are assessed before acceptance letters are issued.

To apply for Richland One Magnet Programs, like Montessori and language immersion, go to www.richlandone.org/Page/10652.
