GOVERNOR ORDERS ALL SCHOOLS TO REMAIN CLOSED THROUGH APRIL 30, 2020.
RICHLAND ONE IMPLEMENTS E-LEARNING PLAN AND PROVIDES FREE MEALS FOR STUDENTS
Governor Henry McMaster has ordered all South Carolina public schools to remain closed through the end of April to help mitigate and control the spread of the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Afterschool programs, child care programs, athletics practices and games, school events, field trips and all other activities are canceled until further notice.
The district’s eLearning plan has been implemented to allow students to do assignments virtually while they are at home while schools are closed. Learning packets were also distributed to students as part of the plan, which was approved by the S.C. Department of Education.
