Gadsden Elementary Received the Palmetto Silver Award!

The SC Department of Education has announced its Palmetto Gold and Silver Awards for school years ending in 2018 and 2019.  Gadsden was awarded the Palmetto Silver for the 2018-2019 school year.

The Palmetto Gold and Silver awards program was established by the Education Accountability Act of 1998 “to recognize and reward schools for academic achievement and for closing the achievement gap,” according to a SC Department of Education news release.  Award winners are selected based on their 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school report card ratings.
