ROTC Students participated in iFly - STEM Program.
AFROTC students started back in October attending online classes with an iFly teacher from Houston Texas learning advanced physics and math as well as learning about jobs in STEMS career fields. One of their projects was using calculus and physics equations to determine how much wind was required in the tunnel based on their body weight to make them fly. The culminating experience at the wind tunnel in Charlotte was awesome as each cadet got to experience what it was like to skydive in a wind tunnel floating/flying in the air for minutes. Some of the cadets are naturals and booked to go back on their own to continue.
