    Only AP and IB students are required to do summer reading this year, although it is our hope that all students will find something to read for enjoyment this summer!

  • School Summer Hours

    Beginning June 10th and running through the week ending on July 26th, all district facilities will open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Schools will be closed during the week of July 1st.

  • Richland One Offering Children Free Meals This Summer

    Again this summer, Richland One will be offering free meals to children in conjunction with the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program. From June 10 through August 2, meals will be available at designated schools throughout the district. Any child is welcome to go to one of the schools for a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no cost to them or their parents. Children simply go to any of the designated sites and ask for a meal.

    Richland One will provide an opportunity for high school students to explore their Career and Technical Education programs. Students will be able to interact with local businesses and industries for internships and networking for future employment.   • 2019-2020 On-Campus Student Parking

    Starting May 6th students can register for on-campus parking for the 2019-2020 school year. Seniors requesting to park on campus have priority, and any remaining spots will be distributed through a lottery system to juniors after the 2019-2020 school year begins.   • Richland One Students can ride The COMET for Free

    Richland One is partnering with The COMET, (Central Midlands Transit) to allow high schools students to ride The COMET in its service area at no charge to the student. Because this free ridership opportunity is being made available at this time, the District is requesting that the student and parent/guardian notify the school of the intent to ride the COMET.

    Four AC Flora Seniors have been named semifinalists in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations to the following seniors for their selection as semifinalists, an honor that less than 1 percent of U.S. high school seniors achieve: Kylee Fulton, Audrey Galimba, Jonathan Pertile, and Pippa Richter. All four semifinalists are also Falcon athletes.
