A. J. Lewis Greenview holds "Book Tasting"
The library at A. J. Lewis Greenview Elementary School was recently transformed into Le Cafe Jaguar so that it could hold the schools very first book tasting. Classes made reservations at the cafe, where they were treated to a variety of delectable book genres.

Hyatt Park ES holds school wide book tasting
Students at Hyatt Park Elementary School were recently invited to a school wide "book tasting". Students from all grades were able to "taste" a vareity of different genres in order to determine which one was their favorite.

Pinegrove ES celebrate Dr. Seuss's Birthday
Students at Pinegrove ES celbrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss by dressing up as their favorite characters. Students also enjoyed a visits by a number of guest readers.

Crayton MS library participates in NASA webcast
Crayton MS school students recently had the opportunity to speak with some of the women engineers at NASA. Students attended during their math and science classes and many were able to have their questions answered by the engineers.

A.C. Moore celebrates Read Across AmericaStudents and teachers at A.C. Moore celebrated Read Across America with a Read at the Beach day. Particpants were encouraged to bring a beach towel and book to read in this fun beach themed setting!

"1,000 Cranes" take flight in the Dreher HS library.
The library media center at Dreher High School now features a new art installation titled 1,000 Cranes. This display features 1,000 Origami cranes created by Mrs. Gorlewski's Art 1 class.
