The first day of school is Monday, August 20th from 8:00am-3:15pm. Breakfast starts at 7:35am. Both breakfast and lunch are free for all students. Students will report to their 1P-2P(A) class at the beginning of the first day.
Class schedules and other important information should arrive to students via postal mail by Tuesday, August 14th. Freshmen will receive an additional copy of their schedule at orientation. Your first block course will be indicated with 1-2, second block will be 3-4, third block will be 5-6, and fourth block will be 7-8. Each number will be followed by the designation for A day, B day or AB for every day classes.
There will be two car pool loops - one for drivers coming in off Forest Drive and one for drivers coming in off Beltline Blvd. The Forest Drive arrivals will use the car pool loop that goes in front of the Competition Gym. Did you receive a parking decal confirmation letter? If so students can pick up their decals on Wednesday, August 15th in the atrium. Students with a last name that begins A-M should report between 2:00-3:00pm. Students with a last name that begins with N-Z should report between 3:00-4:00pm. To purchase a decal, students need to bring $40.00 and the confirmation letter. They will receive a receipt. In addition to a decal, students will receive and sign for a list of parking violations, fees, and a map of appropriate parking locations. This digital platform will allow you, and your student-athlete(s), to complete and access most forms via computer, tablet, or mobile phone. For the safety of our students, faculty, and staff, please refrain from dropping off items (including meals) during the lunch period. The influx of vehicles and additional people during that time creates difficulties for our faculty, staff and School Resource Officers who are charged with protecting our students and campus.
