This past weekend, the Crayton Volleyball Team became the Cardinal Newman Volleyball Invitational Middle School Gold Champions!! Way to go team!!
Volleyball and Football Playoffs and Championship Games Cancelled
Per our District Athletic Director: Due to the loss of games at the beginning of the season, and the lack of days necessary to run a complete Volleyball and Football Playoff, we will not have the District Playoffs this year. The district will be recognizing the Regular Season Champions with tropies and ribbons that will be delivered to the schools at the end of the season.

7th & 8th Grade Basketball Tryouts
Basketball tryouts will begin on October 30th after school from 4 pm until 5:30 pm in the gym. Students must have a completed physical form, medical history forms, Richland School District One Sports Health Form and concussion statement dated after April 1, 2017 on file at Crayton to participate. These forms are located here.
Students should wait for an announcement at the end of the day before reporting to the gym.
Girls tryouts are from October 30th through November 1st.
Boys tryouts are from November 6th through November 8th.
School Store Restock
Get ready for the cool weather! Hoodies & long sleeve shirts have finally arrived! Short sleeve tshirts & athletic shirts have also been restocked. Hoodies are $25, long sleeves $15, athletic shirts are $15 & short sleeve tshirts are $10. Cash & checks (made out to Crayton School Store) are accepted! Students are welcome to make purchases during lunch.
7th and 8th Grade Boys interested in JV Lacrosse
Fall Ball practices will begin Monday, October 9, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the stadium at AC Flora. Practices will be held Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, we will be in the weight room from 4:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. This schedule will be in place until 10/26/17.
Players must have a sports physical for this school year, a concussion form, and a permission form in order to participate in any workouts or lacrosse practice. Those currently participating in another sport must wait until the completion of the season before you will be allowed to participate with the lacrosse team.
Players will be issued helmets and pennies for Fall Ball. Players will need to have red shorts, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, a white or grey undershirt, a cup, and a Lacrosse stick.

AfterSchool Remediation Program Begins Tuesday, September 19th

PowerSchool Parent Portal Mobile App
The PowerSchool Mobile App gives the parents instant access to information they need to stay informed on student grades, performance, and attendance.
Parents using the PowerSchool Mobile App for the first time will need to have a District Code before they can enter their username and password.

Teen Talk Program and Lessons
Teen Talk is a weekly youth development program for middle and high school students held during each participating school’s lunch period. Lunch is provided for Teen Talk participants. The program is designed to help teens get through a challenging time in life. The program helps teens make good choices toward a bright future. Some of the topics and lessons are Healthy Relationships, Body Image, Friendship Limits and Talking with Parents.
Crayton's Teen Talk groups meet every Wednesday during the students' lunch period.
Students can pick up a registration form from the Attendance Office and return it to any guidance counselor.

Crayton will be doing a staggered dismissal for the safety of students. Walkers will be dismissed approximately 5 minutes after our car riders.
DLE consent must be signed by parents/guardians prior to laptop distribution. The annual laptop fee is $30.00 and can be paid in cash or with a check made payable to Crayton Middle School.
