  • End of Year Drop off Plan

    Good Afternoon Crayton families,

As the end of the school year approaches, there are close out procedures that must be attended to. First, please know that no additional assignments will be given after May 22nd. If you have not completed your Elearning assignments you may continue to work on those assignments until June 1st; you will turn in your computer on June 2nd.

The week of May 26th we will be taking up computers, textbooks, library books, instruments, and all other district owned materials. In order to make this as convenient and safe as possible, we ask that you come on your assigned date and time arranged by alphabet. If you have more than one student at Crayton, you only need to come one time. Please see the drop off schedule for day and alpha time listed on the Crayton Web Page. The line will start on the service road behind the school, please stay in your car and you will be directed to each station. To enter the line turn between the school and our neighboring apartment building. Please do not enter either parking lot as traffic will be reversed.

While dropping off items, you will be able to pick up your yearbook in line. If you would like to purchase a yearbook while in line, you will need $27.00 exact change in cash. We are excited to be able to celebrate our 8th grade students on their drop off day May 26th. We look forward to seeing you in the line and providing you with a warm send off to high school.

  • ATTENTION: STUDENT LOCKER CLEAN OUT

STUDENTS AND PARENTS, please read the entire message below.

We hope this message finds you in good health. Listed below is a plan for your student to retrieve items they may have left in their locker or PE locker. May 13th from 9AM to 12PM grade level hallways and gym doors will be  open for your student to enter. Please remain in your car until the student is advised it is their time to enter so we can remain safe and be as efficient as possible. You may drive to the outside end of each grade level hallway or behind the school for PE lockers. Students will not be allowed to walk from one area to the other. Please look for directions and follow instructions given.

Any missing assignments should be cleared by May 22nd in order to receive all possible participation points.

Information will be sent home soon regarding a drop off schedule of school items. Please begin locating any school owned items that should be turned in. We will distribute yearbooks and celebrate our 8th grade students during this drop off process.

  • RICHLAND ONE TO PROVIDE WEEK’S WORTH OF MEALS FOR STUDENTS ON MONDAYS STARTING MARCH 30; PARENTS ASKED TO COMPLETE ONLINE FORM

While schools are closed, Richland One is providing “grab-and-go” breakfasts and lunches for students on weekdays at designated locations. Starting March 30, families will receive a week’s worth of meals on Mondays.

“The change will reduce the number of trips families have to make to the pick-up locations for meals. The meals will be picked up once a week for the entire week,” said Richland One Nutrition Services Director Tracy Dixon.

Along with offering curbside meal pick-ups, the district also has been making bus deliveries to a limited number of sites. With the new meal distribution process, bus deliveries will end after Friday, March 27, Dixon said. Richland One is working with community partners to provide home deliveries to parents who are unable to pick up meals for their children from one of the 10 sites.

To help the Nutrition Services staff know how many meals to prepare, Richland One parents are asked to complete an online form. Parents can access the form directly at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/R1Meals. Parents will receive a follow-up email after they complete the form.

All children 18 and under are eligible to receive the free meals. Parents can drive to any of the locations, remain in their vehicles and staff will distribute the meals curbside. The pick-up hours will be 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Mondays. Children must be present to receive the meals.
