    1-4 p.m.
    Saturday, September 21, 2024

Parents, grandparents, and caregivers are eager to help the children in their lives learn to read but are often unsure how to do so. Building Confident Readers, a workshop presented by the Dyslexia Resource Center, offers practical suggestions and connects participants with resources available at Richland Library. Plus, participants leave with materials to use at home!

    *Online Registration Required

Because we want participants to be fully present, we ask that caregivers/parents attend without their children or bring a second caregiver who can be with the children while they are attending the workshop.

Los padres, abuelos y cuidadores están ansiosos por ayudar a los niños en sus vidas a aprender a leer, pero a menudo no están seguros de cómo hacerlo. • Richland One to Hold Parent Pep Rallies September 17 & 18

Students are back in school and Richland One wants to be sure that parents have the information they need to support them throughout the school year.

Richland One will host Parent Pep Rallies on September 17 at Eau Claire High School Auditorium and September 18 at Lower Richland High School Auditorium from 5:30-7:00 p.m. All Richland One parents and guardians are encouraged to attend one of the Parent Pep Rallies, where they will hear from author and educator Mr. Heyward Jean. There will also be prize drawings.

“We want to get our parents excited about the school year,” said Richland One Superintendent Dr. Craig Witherspoon. “Parents will leave energized and they will receive tips on how they can help ensure that their children have a successful school year. Our theme this year is ‘Team One, One Team’ and our parents are an important part of the team.”

    Parent Pep Rally Schedule

    · Tuesday, September 17 - Eau Claire High School Auditorium

    · Wednesday, September 18 - Lower Richland High School Auditorium

Parents are asked to register. They can choose either Pep Rally to attend. Parents who would like more information should contact the parent and family engagement specialist at their child’s school.

  • A Message From the Principal

    Kezia Myers, Principal

Welcome to Bradley Elementary School, the place where we move “From Ideas to Careers….Success Starts Here!” I am Kezia Myers and I am honored to serve as the principal of this wonderful school.

Parents, we encourage your involvement and support because you are your child's first and most important teacher and advocate. It is an awesome responsibility, and one that makes you feel proud. Be sure to maintain contact with your child's teacher on a regular basis and be supportive of the school-wide activities here at Bradley through your attendance and volunteer efforts. Parents are encouraged to join the Bradley Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association and School Improvement Council.

Bradley provides school-wide Title I services and has a school-wide plan which is located in the Front Office and the Library. Information concerning the school-wide plan will be presented to parents throughout the school year and at annual Title I meetings. The plan will be evaluated in the spring by looking at test data and survey results. These services are provided with federal funds and support the learning of all students.

Again, let me say thank you for taking the time out to visit our website and welcome to Bradley. I look forward to building a strong academic relationship with each of you and to a wonderful, productive school year!

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Kezia Myers, Principal
