Bullying Report QR Code Questions
The first step toward reporting bullying or harassing behavior is taking the time to tell someone. In Richland One, we encourage you to report bullying if you experience or witness it on campus, on the bus, or at school events. The Richland One Board Policy Code JICFAA defines bullying as harassment, intimidation or bullying as a gesture, electronic communication or a written, verbal, physical or sexual act reasonably perceived to have the effect of either of the following.
- harming a student physically or emotionally or damaging a student's property or placing a student in reasonable fear of personal harm or property damage.
- insulting or demeaning a student or group of students causing substantial disruption in, or substantial interference with, the orderly operation of the school.
- demonstrates motivation by any actual or perceived characteristic, such as race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, or a mental, physical or sensory disability or by any other distinguishing characteristic.
The "Safe School Climate Act" is to help us stay informed and help you or others report bullying by completing this QR form that will be submitted directly to administration.
***Reports are kept confidential. If you are reporting this incident as a bystander, we will protect your identity. If you are a victim, we want to help you and protect your identity. Working as a TEAM keeps intimidation, harassment, and bullying out of Richland One!
