Administrative Application Process

 

STEP 1: Apply for South Carolina Educator Certification

Visit the South Carolina State Department of Education Division of Educator Quality and Leadership’s website for valuable information regarding the certification application process for educators. This site provides up-to-date and relevant information pertaining to all facets of educator certification, including but not limited to, the certification process, regulation changes, updating existing certificates and valuable links to information for educators.  https://www.ed.sc.gov/educators/

 

STEP 2: Online Application

Complete the online application via https://www.applitrack.com/richlandone/onlineapp/ and submit the following documents:

  • Three confidential reference forms from supervisory administrators (i.e. immediate or past). These individuals must have supervised you on a classroom setting (i.e. principal, assistant principal, master teacher, university supervisor, etc.). The Richland One reference forms are available online and can be downloaded and printed from the online application main menu. Go to https://www.applitrack.com/richlandone/onlineapp/ and click on APPLICANT FORMS. Reference forms are also available in the Office of Human Resources, 1616 Richland Street, Columbia, SC 29201. If you have completed references available on the South Carolina Common Teacher Application (CERRA/Winthrop), please email recruit@richlandone.org requesting that your references be download from this site.
     
  • A copy of a valid educator certificate
  • Official or unofficial copies of transcripts
  • Praxis test results (subject area administration)

To check the status of your online application status, logon to https://www.applitrack.com/richlandone/onlineapp/ and check your online portfolio for qualifications, messages and status updates. Please respond to all messages and inquiries as soon as possible.
 
New postings and vacancy status. Check online postings frequently. Entering your online application in https://www.applitrack.com/richlandone/onlineapp/will allow you to receive notifications and email updates of new positions for which you qualify.
