Citation Machine- https://www.citationmachine.net/ Does solid APA and MLA citations, but does have lots of advertisements. It will save a list of citations for you as you work in a single session, but not for the long-term.
Cite This for Me- https://www.citethisforme.com/ This is another solid citation site that will do one-off citations. You may pay for a premium service if you want more.
My Bib- https://www.mybib.com/#/projects/xVDPLM/citations can create a free account and can choose citation styles. Will keep a list briefly for you.
NoodleTools free- tools for one-off citations- https://www.noodletools.com/free/ just choose the Noodletools Express link. You may pay for a subscription if you want one.
Scribbr- will do APA or MLA and is free with no ads, https://www.scribbr.com/
Purdue OWL- https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/resources.html has a built-in single citation generator, but also has resources and examples to help you with more obscure or complicated citation questions.
