Mrs. Ronda Steadman-Maurice
Greetings Burton Pack Family and Community,
My name is Ronda Steadman Maurice, and I am delighted to be a part of the Burton Pack Family as your Pre-K through Second Grade Assistant Principal. I am honored and grateful to partner with Mrs. Jones to serve as a leader with Burton Pack’s persevering students, dedicated staff, and supportive school community.
This is my twenty-fourth year in education. I have taught in grades K-5 as a National Board-Certified Teacher. My leadership background includes curriculum development in ELA (English Language Arts), Math, and Science at the primary, elementary, and gifted education levels. I have my master's degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College and Administration Education Specialist Degree from Cambridge College. During the last 3 years, I served as the Lead Teacher for the WG Sanders Middle School Career and Leadership Magnet program supporting staff, families and students in career development and critical thinking.
It is my purpose to empower students to be leaders in their own learning and to support their academic and personal growth. There are several strategies I use to meet this objective. One strategy is to ensure our school environment is student-centered and the other is to set small attainable goals for myself.
My goals for this year are:
- Continue to challenge our students and staff to be at their best.
- Make positive connections with students, families, and staff.
- Be a model for showing kindness, inclusion, and academic excellence.
It is my honor to be your Assistant Principal, and I look forward to serving our community for years to come! Please contact me by phone if you have any questions or concerns. I look forward to meeting you and serving our Burton Pack family. GO! Bulldogs!
Sincerely,
Ronda Steadman Maurice M.Ed, Ed.S, NBCT
