Meet your School Counselor, Mrs. Melinda M. Gordon

 I have been the proud school counselor at Edward E. Taylor Elementary since August 2017, and greatly enjoy serving the students and their families. It is with great pleasure that I assist this community with developing social emotionally healthy life-long learners. My goal is to provide a nurturing and safe environment for students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.  I meet with students individually, in small groups and teach developmental guidance lessons to all grade levels.  I am always available to parents to discuss matters concerning your child, so please feel free to call me at 803-733-3001 if you have any questions or concerns.
