2022 – 2023 Report to Parents

Dear Families, Parents, Friends, Teachers, and Community Partners,

On behalf of the entire School Improvement Council (SIC), I would like to welcome our new and returning students and families! My name is Shayne Kinloch, and I serve as your SIC and PAC Chairperson. It is with great honor and much enthusiasm that I welcome you to join us on the SIC for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. Much planning, forethought, and hard work has gone into preparing for a successful school year. Your input and participation will be instrumental in our success.

The SIC is thrilled to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year and we look forward to meeting new faces, revisiting with familiar ones, as well as hearing all about your summer adventures. I am very excited to work together to make this a fabulous new school year!

Carver-Lyon Elementary School is stepping into its future and it is brilliantly bright. Toni Morrison wrote ``…how lovely it is, this thing we have done – together.`` That is what the SIC is all about – pooling our resources, time, and expertise to improve our school.
