I use technology in the classroom to enhance student participation and to free up time to work with more closely with students. Recently, I’ve taken on a blended learning station rotation model in the classroom. Essentially, I create instructional videos for my high flyers to watch and work at their own pace. This allows them to extend their learning or work ahead while I pull small groups or work with students individually. Currently, I am planning professional development on blended learning for other teachers in the district. My current technology goal is to transition to a flipped classroom by the end of the year.
