Richland One, Sertoma Club to Host Sportsarama August 14 and 15

Get ready to kick off Richland One’s high school football season! Come cheer for your favorite team at Sportsarama 2026 on Friday, August 14, and Saturday, August 15, at Memorial Stadium (1100 South Holly Street, Columbia, SC 29205). The rain date is Sunday, August 16.

The pre-game show will begin at 6:45 p.m. on both nights. There will be two games each night between Richland One teams and one visiting team. Each game will be played for two 12-minute quarters. The first game of each night will kick off at 7 p.m. 

August 14 games:

  • Game 1: W.J. Keenan (home team) vs. C.A. Johnson – 7 p.m.
  • Game 2: Dreher (home team) vs. Eau Claire – 8 p.m.

August 15 games:

  • Game 1: Columbia High (home team) vs. Whitmire – 7 p.m.
  • Awards Presentations at 7:45 p.m. – Mr. and Miss Sportsarama and the winners of the Band in the Stands awards will be announced.             
  • Game 2: Lower Richland (home team) vs. A.C. Flora – 8 p.m.

Tickets for Sportsarama are $10 and are separated by home teams and visitor teams. Spectators are not allowed to cross over to the other side of the stadium once they enter.

The only passes honored at the gate will be South Carolina High School League passes.  

Again this year, Richland One’s clear bag policy will be enforced at Sportsarama and at all football games held at district stadiums during the season.
