Six Richland One Football Players Nominated for Player of the Year

The Richland County Recreation Commission has announced that six Richland One student-athletes have been nominated for the 2025 Richland County High School Football Player of the Year award. 

Richland One’s Player of the Year nominees and the schools they attend are: 

  • Brandon Ashford – Eau Claire High School
  • Azel Banag – A.C. Flora High School
  • Chanson Evans – Dreher High School
  • Jeremiah Johnson – C.A. Johnson High School
  • Anthony King – W.J. Keenan High School
  • Chad Wilson – Lower Richland High School

The award winner will be announced in December during a special banquet for the nominees, their families and their coaches. The winner will receive a $2,000 scholarship or college educational bundle (including an iPad and gift cards) for their hard work and dedication on and off the field.
