Richland One to Hold Parent Information Sessions for 2026-2027 Magnet Choice Programs
Richland One will hold a series of information sessions for parents interested in enrolling their children in the district’s magnet choice programs for the 2026-2027 school year.
The application period for students to enroll in magnet choice programs for the 2026-2027 school year begins December 8. The application deadline is January 30, 2026.
Parents interested in enrolling their children in either the BLAST (Building Lasting Aerospace and STEM Trajectories), Montessori or middle school career exploration programs are required to attend one information session. For all other magnet choice programs, parents are encouraged to attend an information session, but attendance is voluntary.
The district’s December 4 Magnet Choice Fair will not count as a required parent information session. Click here for more information about the Magnet Choice Fair.

Richland One Middle College
In-person open houses will be held Thursday, December 11 and Tuesday, April 21 at 6 p.m. at Richland One Middle College on Midlands Technical College’s Beltline campus (316 South Beltline Boulevard, Columbia, SC 29205). The open houses will be held in the Center for Business and Information Technology (room 101).
