Richland One Student Transportation Services 

The Richland One Student Transportation Department is proud to provide safe, reliable transportation for nearly 16,000 students each day. Our team of nearly 200 dedicated transportation professionals works collaboratively to support student success by ensuring that students travel safely to and from school. 

Safety is our highest priority, and we value the partnership between families, schools, and our transportation staff in creating a positive riding experience for every student. Parents and gaurdians are encouraged to review bus safety practices with their children, including looking both ways before crossing the street, following the bus driver's instructions, remaining seated while the bus is in motion, and using respectful behavior while riding the bus. 

The school bus is an important part of the educational day, and out bus drivers and bus aides serve as a vital connection between home and school. Richland One bus drivers are highly trained professionals who are committed to the safety and well-being of every student they transport. All drivers are required to hold a Commerical Driver's License (CDL) and complete extensive training in safe driving practices, student management, and transportation procedures. In addition, drivers participate in ongoing professional development, safety workshops, and regular training programs throughout the year.

For questions regarding bus routes, schedules, or bus stop locations, please contact your child's school or the Richland One Transportation Support Center.

All students must be registered to ride the bus. Please complete registration online using Power School. Also upload the My Ride K-12 app to receive important bus information and messages.  Should you have any questions regarding the online process, please contact your child's school. Students who are not registered to ride the bus, will not be transported.
