Student Support Services provides an array of services and resources to students, general educators, special educators, administrators and families across the district.    The department works with educators and families to foster high expectations of students and provides comprehensive services to help meet the academic, social, behavioral, adaptive and physical needs of all students.  The professionals in Student Support Services provide direct services to students, with an intense focus on those who are experiencing problems that create barriers to learning and overall academic success. These services include but are not limited to education, counseling, consultation and individual assessment.

In addition, Student Support Services team members provide professional development and technical assistance to schools, community education, and collaboration and support both program development and management.

  • building effective problem solving teams that expedite successful interventions for students and families

  • by increasing and sustaining strong parental involvement
