The World Language and ESOL Programs is planning a second family event this spring called “Know Your Rights, Know Your Community”. This event will take place on March 23 at Lower Richland High School from 4-6pm.
We are inviting Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Appleseed Legal Justice Center, attorneys from the SC Bar, SC Works, and other organizations to be vendors and presenters at this event. Our goal is to inform our immigrant, refugee, & mixed-status families about their rights, education, and access to support to support organizations in South Carolina.
Families of ESOL students – please join us for a family event focusing on strategies and benefits of using the native language at school, home, and in the community.
December 14, 2021 (4:30pm-6:00pm) at 2612 Covenant Rd. Columbia SC 29204
