Get ready to rise together and soar to new heights!

Join the Superintendent’s Book Club, where reading takes us higher and higher. Reading opens doors, lifts our minds, and helps us reach new horizons. The Superintendent’s Book Club is an annual challenge to promote a lifelong love of reading. To participate in the challenge, all you have to do is READ.

How to Join:

  • Read 1,500 minutes between January 12 and March 16, 2026.
  • Log your progress in Beanstack.
  • Choose any books you like—anytime, anywhere!

Rewards:

  • Top readers will be invited to a special celebration.
  • Recognition and prizes for students, classes, and schools that read the most.

District Goal:
If PreK–8th grade students collectively reach 2.5 million minutes, Superintendent Dr. Walker will take reading to the ultimate level—by skydiving out of an airplane!

Ready. Set. Read!
