DRS_EDMS (Softdocs)

The district has procured the product Softdocs/Etrieve to be its District Routing System (DRS)

Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).  This is the system that will be used for submitting and approving various routing processes.  At this time, the district will be implementing two (2) digital processes which is the Technology Approval Process form and Legal Agreements. 

The following staff have been identified as approved submitters for the Technology Approval Process

Accessing the Application

Staff will need to access the R1 Portal (ClassLink) and select the DRS_EDMS application (see the image below).   

This is the district's new district routing system and electronic document management system.

The system should automatically sign you in as the log in is your district username and password.  If you are an approved user and are getting an error message and/or do not have access to either the Technology Approval Process or Legal Agreement form, please submit a One to One Plus ticket. 

  1. Select Software Application from the Dashboard.
  2. Search for DRS_EDMS from the Category listing. 
  3. In the description indicate your position, your school, and provide the specific error message you are receiving when you are trying to log in or the form(s) you are not seeing in your application.  To provide additional support, please attach a picture of the error message as a File to the ticket. 

Using the Application

There are no more "live" virtual sessions.  Staff that are approved to use the system will need to view the IT Department's new Information Technology Department SharePoint.  The internal website will require staff to log in using their Richland One credentials.  Once staff log in, they will need to click on the link to access the DRS_EDMS (Softdocs) Video Library.
