New IT MVP Award Recognizes Excellence and Teamwork in Richland One

The Information Technology Department is in year two of their IT Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award, an initiative to celebrate the outstanding contributions of team members who exemplify the values and agreements that drive our success.
This award is peer-nominated, allowing members of the IT team to recognize colleagues whose work ethic, innovation, and collaboration stand out. Each quarter, the IT MVP will be selected based on their alignment with our department’s agreements, showcasing the dedication and teamwork that keep Richland One’s technology thriving.
“The department’s Strategic Leadership Team made up of various members of the department wanted to create a way to spotlight the incredible efforts of our staff and highlight the shared values that make our department strong,” said Dr. Candice Lowman Coppock, Executive Director of Information Technology.
The department has now had three (3) award winners:
1. Regina Reed (former IT department employee)
2. Jacques Ishmal (School Technology Support Specialist- Technician)
3. Takita Johnson (Telecommunication Specialist)
