The Information Technology Department is thrilled to announce the launch of the IT Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award, a new initiative to celebrate the outstanding contributions of team members who exemplify the values and agreements that drive our success.

This award is peer-nominated, allowing members of the IT team to recognize colleagues whose work ethic, innovation, and collaboration stand out. Each quarter, the IT MVP will be selected based on their alignment with our department’s agreements, showcasing the dedication and teamwork that keep Richland One’s technology thriving.

“The department’s Strategic Leadership Team made up of various members of the department wanted to create a way to spotlight the incredible efforts of our staff and highlight the shared values that make our department strong,” said Dr. Candice Lowman Coppock, Executive Director of Information Technology.

Regina Reed, Executive Assistant was selected as the first IT MVP and was announced at the IT Department’s February 28th department meeting.  Colleagues describe Regina as the embodiment of loyalty, willingness, and humility.  Though she may not be out in the field, her impact is deeply felt through her steadfast guidance, organizational skills, and protective spirit.  Regina consistently goes above and beyond, putting others' needs before her own and delivering excellence every day.

We’re proud to celebrate the remarkable individuals who keep our district connected, efficient, and forward-thinking. Let’s cheer on our award winners and recognize their exceptional contributions!
