DRAPE
Richland One Digital Requestion Acquisition Process Expedited (DRAPE)
NEW 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
As we begin our yearly process for submitting digital resource requests for the 2025-2026 school year, it’s important to understand the “why’ behind it. Our school board policy, IJKA Technology Resource Selection and Adoption, requires all computer-related hardware, software, and electronic resources to be thoroughly reviewed. The DRAPE process is crucial for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems. With rising cybersecurity and data privacy concerns, adhering to this policy and processes protects us from potential threats and ensures a safe digital environment for everyone. As we prepare for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year, T&L departments have evaluated the use, effectiveness, and appropriateness of all digital resources that have been used in the past to make decisions regarding which resources are appropriate for the district and schools to purchase next year to support or enhance instruction.

DRAPEs will not be accepted via email as the new District Routing System (DRS) and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) will be used. Refer to the DRS_EDMS (Softdocs) website for additional information about the system.
Staff are to refer to the 2025-2026 DRAPE Memo updated 4.23.2025 for important new information for dates and how to submit the DRAPE following the new process.
