Selection Criteria
The Purpose of the procedure is to describe the evaluation criteria and the method used to evaluate the use of professionals during presentations and interviews. Each criteria should be ranked from 0 - 10. A score of ten (10) would be highest.
PAST PERFORMANCE:
Based on the experience of the evaluator, this item should take into consideration the performance of the professional in past experiences. The evaluator should consider the following items:
* Responsiveness of the professional
* Attention to detail
* Willingness to work with owner
ABILITY OF PERSONNEL:
The evaluator should look at the personnel being proposed for the project. The evaluator should take these items into consideration:
- Certifications and Education
- Number of years experience
- Past project involvement
TIME & BUDGET:
Based on personal experience and the items being presented, the evaluator should determine the ability of the professional to meet the described time schedule and budget restraints.
LOCATION:
The evaluator should assign scores as identified below:
In-District 9 - 10
In-Midlands 7 - 8
In-State 5 - 6
Out of State 0 - 4
WORKLOAD:
Based on the information presented, the evaluator should determine the ability of the presenter to handle projects for the owner based on the time schedule for the projects to be completed.
CREATIVITY:
Based on the information presented in the interview and other available information, the evaluator should assess the presenters ability to make creative solutions for the district.
SIMILAR PROJECTS:
Based on the information presented in the interview and other available information, the evaluator should the professionals experience with other projects of this nature. The more similarity, the greater the score.
