Think 5 is a home visitation program using the Parents as Teachers curriculum that encourages parents to think about and prepare for their child’s entrance into kindergarten. It is a partnership between the parent and ThriveRichland’s Family Engagement Specialists. We will work together to make your child and family stronger.

  1. Parents are their child's first AND most important teacher. We will build on the learning already happening at home. 
  2. Children are constantly growing and changing. We will explore your child's physical, mental and emotional development.
  3. Play is one of the earliest ways children learn. Each week we will play a new game and see how your child responds.
  4. It takes a village to raise a child! Who's in your village? How can they help your child be ready for school? 
  5. Happy healthy parents lead to happy and healthy children. What are you doing to take care of you? Self-care is important!
