$150 FOR COMPLETE TEST OR $37.50 PER SUBJECT.

GED REGISTRATION OPTIONS

REGISTRATION FOR THE CURRENT GED ON THE COMPUTER
- Call Pearson Vue at 1-877-392-6433 or visit http://www.ged.com
- You must have a debit card or credit card available (The fee is $150 for the whole GED test and $37.50 for individual tests).
- Follow all instructions from Pearson Vue and be sure to sign up for the test at 2612 Covenant Road in Columbia, South Carolina 29204.
- Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled test.
- Bring your confirmation letter and a valid South Carolina photo ID.
- Park in the visitor's parking lot behind the Adult Education Center off of Center Street and walk around to the front door on Covenant Road.
- Dress appropriately.
- The GED testing office is in room 17.

17 or 18 year olds must have a Verification of Withdrawal form completed before registering for the GED (Verification of withdrawal form) (Verification of withdrawal form instructions for applicants under the age of 19)

SOUTH CAROLINA GED REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 17 years old and withdrawn from high school
- Must have valid State Issued ID
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS
Individuals needing special accommodation must print the accommodation request from the myged.com website and fax or email Pearson Vue as directed in the instructions on the site.
TEST DAY REGULATIONS FOR THE RICHLAND ONE TESTING SITE
- Arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled testing time.
- Bring a valid picture identification (for SC residents: SC driver’s license or a SC state issued identification card)
- Bring your copy of the confirmation notice indicating the date of testing.
- REMEMBER: GED testing regulations prohibit the following items to be brought into the testing room: mobile phones, hand-held computers/personal digital assistants (PDAs), electronic glasses, any recording devices of any kind or other electronic devices, pagers, watches, wallets, purses, car keys, key fob, firearms or other weapons, hats and other non-religious head coverings, bags, coats, jackets, eyeglass cases, books, and/or notes.
