Research Request

Important - PLEASE READ
- 2025-26 Research Review Period: For the 2025-26 school year, research requests will be accepted from September 2, 2025, through April 30, 2026, to include a winter break pause from December 5, 2025 - January 9, 2026. Note: Applications received after April 30, 2026 will be held until the September 8, 2026 open date.
- District and/or School Contact: Researchers are not to contact any persons of interest for your research at the district or schools directly. All research requests must first be presented to the Richland One Research Committee. The Committee will contact applicable district and/or school administrators and request volunteer participation on the researcher's behalf. If approved, an official letter will be provided to the researcher with guidance on how to begin conducting research within the district.
- Permission to Conduct Study: All research requests must be submitted and reviewed through the AARE research review process. However, if your college/university requires a "Permit to Conduct Study" to be signed by the District Superintendent (or designee), please complete THIS LETTER in fulfillment of this requirement. The Superintendent will not sign study requests.
