
2026 All Staff Back-to-School Convocation
Our All Staff Back-to-School Convocation will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. The program will start at 9:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m., with arrival and check-in beginning at 7:30 a.m. The Convocation theme is “One Moment. One Mission. One Movement.”
This event is being held to officially launch R1 Vision 2030 and Beyond and set the tone for key cultural shifts throughout Richland One. It serves as a unified starting point for aligning our leaders and staff around shared priorities, expectations and the collective work ahead.
The event is scheduled for July 28 to align with venue availability and to strategically position the launch ahead of the upcoming school year, ensuring that leaders are prepared and aligned before the start of implementation.
