Students in PreK4 through grade 8: Are you ready to LEAP into the 2020-2021 school year? Then, be sure to attend school one day during LEAP Week, August 24-28! 

Schools will notify parents of students in PreK4 through grade 8 of the specific date their child is invited to attend. 

What will happen during LEAP days? Students will meet their teacher(s), receive an orientation to the new school year and be assessed to determine strengths and areas of growth upon which they can build. Devices will be distributed to students in grades 3-8 at this time as well.

Be on the lookout for more information from your child’s school with your scheduled date and time to ensure appropriate social distancing!

The South Carolina Legislature requires school districts to offer LEAP (Learn Evaluate Analyze Prepare) days to students prior to the start of the new school year in response to the COVID-19 school closures in the spring.
