If you are trying to stay close to home this summer and still want great books for your child to read, listed below are resources you can access from home (or curbside from Richland Library).
Students can access their school’s virtual library to read from a selection of eBooks, audiobooks, and periodicals at www.gofollett.com. Students can log in using their student ID number and birthday.
Discus, South Carolina’s Virtual Library, is the “information place” for all South Carolinians. www.scdiscus.org provides free access to an electronic library that is available 24/7. From Tumblebooks to Teen Book Cloud, there are over 50 different resources that support learning for the whole family. Username: discus2020; Password: learn1!
The connectED partnership between Richland One and Richland Library allows students to access books, movies, music, homework help and more at www.richlandlibrary.com. Your child’s Richland One ID number is the library card number, and the PIN is the last four digits of your phone number. Please call Richland Library at (803) 799-9084 if you have any questions about your library account. Some Richland Libraries are now offering curbside service, as well.
